  Welcome to our website! My name is Ty Bewley. I am the founder and President of Poor Boy Tree Service. We are a full-service line clearance contractor located in Southwest Missouri. Established in 1989 and incorporated in 1994, Poor Boy Tree Service has rapidly grown into a major provider of right-of-way growth management for the utilities industry.

          Our exciting business growth has been built on a company culture of Integrity and Professionalism in all that we do. Completing our customer contract commitments as promised, on time, and with a safety first attitude has always been our first customer focus.

          Early on in our business growth we recognized the need for our own in-house support teams, including mechanical and diesel specialists to maintain our equipment and a modern shop with craftsmen to provide us with normally expensive and long lead time OEM parts and components. In addition, we have a specialty tree service supply company, providing ourselves as well as other industry leaders with the necessary quality tools of the trade such as Husqvarna chain saws, Carhartt outdoor clothing, WeatherHead hydraulic fittings, and many other pertinent everyday items to our industry such as Gatorade and Anti-Poison Ivy pills.

          We believe that the future growth and continued success in the right-of-way line clearance industry will be anchored by our continued commitment to improved mechanicalization of the current work process. Mechanical Tree Trimmers provide two major benefits, increased safety and productivity. We currently are repairing, replacing, and rebuilding existing mechanical tree trimmers in our Mechanical Trimmer Division. We have clear goals for the future and a committed team effort to introduce the ultimate tree trimming machine and an indestructible vegetation control mower to the industry.
